Weijing Energy Storage 3GW Super Factory Project Starts Construction

On May 18, the Weijing Energy Storage 3GW zinc-iron liquid flow battery (Baotou) intelligent manufacturing base project was launched in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The factory is the largest in the country, with a total construction area of ​​208,000 square meters. It is expected to be put into production in the first half of 2025 and reach full production by the end of the year. The annual output value is about 20 billion yuan and the tax revenue is about 240 million yuan. Weijing Energy Storage also plans to build a 1GW zinc-iron liquid flow battery factory in Wenling, Zhejiang.
