Great Wall Motors and BMW Group cooperate to create a new pure electric vehicle brand

Great Wall Motors and BMW Group recently announced that they will jointly invest USD 870 million to create a new pure electric vehicle brand "Beam Automotive". The new brand will establish a production base in Jiangsu Province, China, with an estimated annual production capacity of 160,000 vehicles. This cooperation will further promote the technology research and development and market expansion of both parties in the field of new energy vehicles.
