EVE Energy to build new battery factory in Hungary, expected to be completed in 2027

EVE Energy, a supplier of the BMW Group, is building an advanced battery factory in the Northwest Industrial Zone of Debrecen, Hungary. The factory covers an area of ​​approximately 450,000 square meters and is expected to produce 30GWh of cylindrical batteries per year. It is estimated that the project will be completed and put into operation in 2027, creating about 1,000 jobs locally.
