Chinese IGBT manufacturers' concentrated layout in the medium and low voltage market

Most Chinese IGBT manufacturers focus on the medium and low voltage markets. For example, the IGBT products of Macromicro Technology, BYD Semiconductor, Silan Microelectronics and New Clean Energy are all concentrated in the IGBT market below 1500V, mainly used in new energy vehicles, home appliances and welding machines. Times Electric and Star Semiconductor have also made layouts in the high voltage market of 3300V and above, mainly serving the fields of high-speed rail and power grid transmission.
