Latvia's largest energy storage project launched, Holmium provides technical support

The largest energy storage project in Latvia to date was inaugurated on November 1 at the Tārgale wind farm in the Ventspils region. The project is operated by Utilitas, Latvia's largest renewable energy producer, and has a storage capacity of 20.64MWh. HoyPrime's integrated container energy storage system is used in the project to provide auxiliary services for grid frequency regulation, participate in the local energy balancing market, and promote the integration and consumption of renewable energy.
