Dongfeng Motor and CRRC cooperate to develop automotive-grade IGBT modules

Zhixin Semiconductor, a company jointly established by Dongfeng Motor and CRRC in Wuhan, has successfully achieved mass production of automotive-grade IGBT modules. The first phase has a production capacity of 300,000 units, mainly producing 400V silicon-based IGBT modules. Compared with foreign products, the price is reduced by 50%, achieving a breakthrough in the development of domestic IGBT modules from scratch. The second production line was put into operation in April with a planned production capacity of 400,000 units, compatible with the production of 400V silicon-based IGBT modules and 800V silicon carbide modules, and is expected to be put into mass production in July.
