Volkswagen Group (China) announced that the new Volkswagen brand model developed in cooperation with Xiaopeng will be put into production in Hefei in 2026. Volkswagen has established an efficient intelligent connected vehicle industry cluster in Hefei, including VCTC, VWA factory and VWAC. Ge Wandi, CEO of Volkswagen Anhui, said that the production capacity will be increased in Hefei to develop a strong intelligent electric vehicle production base.
