Stellantis to cut 1,100 jobs at Spanish assembly plant

European automaker Stellantis announced that its Toledo Assembly Complex in Spain will lay off more than 1,000 employees indefinitely, and will adjust its operating model as early as January 5, 2025. The plant's operating mode will be reduced from two shifts to one shift a day, and the number of layoffs is expected to be about 1,100.
