Xpeng Motors launches new autonomous driving computing chip - Turing

Xpeng Motors has launched a new autonomous driving computing chip - Turing. Designed specifically for AI, this chip has a 40-core processor and can run large models with 30B parameters locally. The Turing chip integrates two NPUs and a domain-specific architecture for neural networks to ensure the vehicle's real-time safety detection and image processing capabilities. The chip has a computing power equivalent to three NVIDIA ORIN-X chips, has 40 cores, and can run large models with up to 30 billion parameters.
