Volkswagen Group is investing in new technologies, such as the Large Casting Technology Center, to strengthen the competitiveness of its production site in northern Hesse, Germany and safeguard jobs. These new technologies will develop high-quality cast components for future Volkswagen Group models, such as the rear end and high-voltage battery housing.
