CATL cancels plans for German battery factory

In response to reports that the cancellation of an important customer project of Honeycomb Energy led to the suspension of the construction of its German factory, Honeycomb Energy responded that the news was untrue. Earlier reports said that Honeycomb Energy had suspended plans to build a battery factory in Lauchhammer, Brandenburg, Germany, and the cancellation of an important customer project was one of the key factors. The factory was originally scheduled to be put into production in 2025 with an annual production capacity of 16GWh.
