The world's leading company plans to enter the 12-inch wafer foundry field and build a factory in cooperation with NXP

Fang Lue, chairman and general manager of World Advanced, said on November 2 that the company will enter the 12-inch wafer foundry field this year and plans to build a new factory. The company and the outside world are full of confidence in this plan, hoping that when the new factory is fully operational in five years, the annual revenue will increase from NT$50 billion to NT$100 billion. Fang Lue emphasized that World Advanced will lead the 12-inch plan, invest US$7.8 billion, and cooperate in a joint venture with NXP. TSMC will also provide all the important technologies and resources needed.
