AK-BARS Group cooperates with Sino-Russian Research Institute to develop quasi-solid-state polymer power batteries

On May 30, AK-BARS Group signed a 10GWh quasi-solid polymer power battery industrialization project and an international joint laboratory construction agreement with Sino-Russian Research Institute and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Russia, aiming to promote in-depth cooperation in the key components industry technology of new energy vehicles between China and Russia. According to the plan, the solid polymer battery product will be mass-produced in 2024 with a designed production capacity of 10GWh, which will be implemented in two phases: 1-5GWh construction will be completed in 2024, and the second phase of 5-10GWh construction will be promoted in 2027 (adjusted according to market demand).
