BYD and Weichai Power start construction of power battery R&D and manufacturing base

BYD and Weichai Power have reached a strategic cooperation and jointly launched the construction of Weichai (Yantai) New Energy Power Industrial Park. The total investment of the industrial park is 17 billion yuan, of which the power battery R&D and manufacturing base has the capacity to produce 50GWh batteries annually.
