AirPods maker Goertek plans Hong Kong IPO for semiconductor unit Goertek Microelectronics

According to foreign media reports, AirPods manufacturer Goertek is planning an initial public offering (IPO) for its semiconductor subsidiary Goertek Microelectronics in Hong Kong. It is reported that Goertek has cooperated with CICC, CMB International, CITIC Securities and UBS Group on the listing, and is expected to be listed as early as next year, raising at least US$300 million. As the only company in Goertek that is engaged in the research, development, production and sales of MEMS sensor interaction devices and microsystem modules, Goertek Microelectronics' market share in MEMS acoustic sensors continues to rank first in the world.
