Continuously variable transmission (CVT) is popular among some consumers for its smoothness and economy, but its durability has sparked widespread discussion. CVT stands for Continuously Variable Transmission. Its working principle is to change the speed ratio by adjusting the angle between the cone wheel and the steel belt to achieve seamless shifting. However, this design makes CVT prone to wear when subjected to high torque and high load operation.
