Dongfeng Motor Corporation will become independent, and Dongfeng Limited will start comprehensive reform

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng Limited") is discussing with Dongfeng Motor Group the transfer of its equity in Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng Shares", 600006.SH). After the transaction is completed, Dongfeng Shares will be separated from Dongfeng Limited, and the controlling shareholder will become Dongfeng Motor Group. Public data shows that Dongfeng Limited's sales volume in 2021 was 1.38 million vehicles, and it has long been the subsidiary with the highest sales and profit contribution under Dongfeng Motor Group. Dongfeng Shares' sales volume in 2021 was 182,700 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 6.56%, and realized a net profit of 372 million yuan attributable to the owners of the parent company.
