Weilan New Energy expands solid-state battery production capacity

Weilan New Energy currently has a production capacity of 0.2GWh, and plans to add 2GWh in 2022 and 8GWh in 2023. In March 2019, the company launched the first phase of the solid-state battery project with a total investment of 500 million yuan. In 2021, Weilan New Energy launched a 2Gwh solid-state battery project with a total investment of 950 million yuan. The pilot line of the Liyang base was put into production in 2020, the 2GWh project of the Huzhou base will be put into production in 2022, and the 8GWh project of the Beijing Fangshan base will be put into mass production in 2023.
