Canoo, a new American car manufacturer, is accused of false advertising

After forcing employees to take "unpaid leave", the new American car-making force Canoo has been accused of falsely advertising its electric vehicles in Oklahoma. According to reports, in November 2023, Canoo announced that it had delivered the first batch of "Made in Oklahoma" electric vehicles to the state government, but former employees revealed that the factory did not produce any cars at all. The so-called delivered vehicles were actually handmade by another company, and 90% of them were just GEM body stickers.
