Sharp and KDDI collaborate to build AI data center

Sharp Corporation and Japanese telecommunications operator KDDI plan to jointly transform their Sakai factory into an artificial intelligence (AI) data center powered by Nvidia's advanced chips. The data center will be equipped with 1,000 servers using next-generation Nvidia GPUs to serve developers of large language models.
