BMW China recalls some imported X5M, X6M, X7 and other models

On May 31, BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. announced that it would recall some imported X5M, X6M, X7, XM and XM Label vehicles due to variable valve lift software problems that may cause the OBD fault indicator to fail to light up, posing unreasonable emission risks. BMW China will upgrade the software for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate the unreasonable emission risks. Affected car owners will receive notifications through registered mail, connected driving messages, etc.
