BYD's 15th Division Air Conditioning Factory celebrates the rollout of the 10 millionth electric compressor

BYD's 15th Division Air Conditioning Factory announced on December 23 that the 10 millionth electric compressor officially rolled off the production line. Since the birth of the first prototype in 2011, the factory has achieved a leap from 1 million to 10 million, and the speed is getting faster and faster. The newly rolled-off electric compressor uses a Hall sensor, which has achieved a major breakthrough in ultra-low speed. The minimum operating speed has dropped from 960rpm to 100rpm, meeting the needs of the single-opening mode of the car refrigerator. In addition, its oil-gas separation efficiency reaches 30%, the residual oil volume has increased by 120%, the displacement is 45cc, and it can be expanded to 57cc to meet the high-power charging and discharging refrigeration needs of the whole vehicle. This compressor will be launched on the Denza Z9 model in June 2024.
