Hangzhou plans to relax car purchase and license plate restrictions to stimulate car consumption

The Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce recently released the "Three-Year Action Plan for Building Hangzhou into a "City of Games and a City That Never Sleeps" (2025-2027) (Draft for Comments), which proposed a strategy of "vigorously promoting automobile consumption", including continuing to relax restrictions on automobile purchases and license plates in an orderly manner. The implementation of this strategy is expected to stimulate more demand for automobile consumption.
