NXP Semiconductors and ZF collaborate on electric vehicle traction inverter solutions

NXP Semiconductors and ZF announced a collaboration to develop electric vehicle traction inverter solutions based on silicon carbide (SiC). This solution will use NXP's GD316x high-voltage isolated gate driver to accelerate the promotion and application of SiC power devices in the 800V platform.
