Ford, GM, Honda and Nissan develop electromagnetic active suspension

Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. are all actively developing electromagnetic active suspension. The actuators used by these companies are in the form of rotary motors supplemented by ball screw structures to improve the performance and efficiency of the suspension system.
