Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz Group's battery joint venture suspends construction of battery factories in Germany and Italy

Due to slowing sales of electric vehicles and high costs, the Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a battery joint venture between Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz Group, has decided to suspend the construction of battery factories in Germany and Italy. Currently, ACC plans to operate three battery factories in Europe at a total cost of 7 billion euros.
