Honda starts layoffs and capacity reductions to cope with falling sales

In order to cope with the operating pressure brought by the decline in sales, Honda launched a layoff and capacity reduction plan this year. Guangqi Honda has completed a 14% layoff plan, involving more than 1,700 employees. At the same time, Honda has reduced its automobile production capacity in China by 20%.
