In November 2023, Zhongneng Ruixin officially signed a square aluminum shell lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery industry project with a total investment of 13 billion yuan in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The project plans to build a 40GWh energy storage battery research and development and production base in two phases, and jointly participate in the research and development and preparation of lithium batteries, sodium batteries and key materials with BTR and Zhongneng Jian Huadong Electric Power Equipment.
