Intel announced in 2022 that it had signed a contract to purchase five High-NA EUV lithography machines (TWINSCAN NXE:3600D), which will be used to produce Intel 18A chips in 2025. This High-NA lithography technology is expected to reduce the size by 66%, thereby improving the performance and energy efficiency of chips.
