Demand for Aixtron's GaN/SiC equipment continues to grow, Q3 2024 results released

Aixtron's revenue in the third quarter of 2024 was 156.3 million euros, slightly lower than the expected 150 million to 180 million euros. Despite weak market demand, the company continued to grow demand for gallium nitride and silicon carbide power electronic equipment, with orders reaching 143.5 million euros in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 21%. Orders in the first nine months of 2024 were 439.5 million euros, a slight increase year-on-year. Looking ahead, Aixtron expects full-year revenue in 2024 to be between 620 million and 660 million euros, with a gross margin of approximately 43% to 45% and an EBIT margin of approximately 22% to 25%.
