NXP single-chip radar SoC supports new ADAS vehicle architecture

NXP has launched the SAF8xxx series of single-chip radar SoCs, including SAF86xx and SAF85xx, which support multiple sensor outputs, adapt to different vehicle architecture requirements, and improve road safety and driving convenience. SAF85xx is suitable for traditional edge processing architectures, integrating radar transceivers and microprocessor units; SAF86xx is designed for distributed radar architectures and supports short, medium and long-range automotive radar applications. Both chips comply with ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434 standards to ensure functional safety and network security.
