Mitsubishi Electric Launches New 16W GaN Power Amplifier Module to Support 5G mMIMO Base Station Development

Mitsubishi Electric announced on June 4, 2024 that it will provide samples of a new 16W GaN power amplifier module for 5G mMIMO base stations, which helps reduce production costs and power consumption. The new PAM is suitable for 32T32R mMIMO antennas, which can extend the communication range and reduce the number of components required.
