Toyota showcased a portable hydrogen fuel tank at the 2024 Japan Motor Show. The device can store 200 grams of hydrogen at a pressure of 70 MPa, which can generate 3.3 kWh of energy through the Toyota Mirai fuel cell system. The fuel tank is light and easy to carry, and can be easily refilled or replaced at service points. Toyota's display clearly shows the wide application potential of hydrogen energy, including distribution, storage and exchange services. In addition, the versatility of hydrogen fuel tanks also provides broad possibilities for cross-industry applications, such as integration into home energy systems or incorporation into public infrastructure.
