BYD's production capacity is fully utilized, and sales hit a new high

He Zhiqi, executive vice president of BYD Co., Ltd., recently said that the company increased production by nearly 200,000 units from August to October, recruited nearly 200,000 people for complete vehicles and parts, and all bases were in full production. According to BYD's latest production and sales data, in October 2024, the company's new energy vehicle production was 536,100 units, a year-on-year increase of 74.63%; sales were 502,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 66.53%. This is the first time that BYD's monthly sales have exceeded 500,000 units, setting a record for Chinese automakers and also breaking the global automaker's monthly sales record for new energy vehicles.
