Mitsubishi Electric's Kumamoto SiC wafer plant to start operations in 2025

Mitsubishi Electric announced that its SiC wafer plant in Kumamoto Prefecture will start operations ahead of schedule in November 2025. The plant will invest approximately 100 billion yen, mainly for the construction of a new 8-inch SiC wafer plant.
