BAIC New Energy and Pony.ai jointly develop L4 driverless models, which are expected to be launched on the market in 2025

BAIC New Energy and Pony.ai signed a technical cooperation agreement on the development of L4 driverless models at China's Blue Valley on November 2. The two parties plan to jointly develop a fully driverless Robotaxi model based on the Alpha T5 model of the Polar Fox and the seventh-generation autonomous driving software and hardware system solution of Pony.ai. It is expected that the first batch of Alpha T5 Robotaxi models of the Polar Fox will be completed and launched in 2025 for promotion in the domestic market. This cooperation will promote the mass production of L4 fully driverless technology and add momentum to the development of the "intelligent" second half of the automotive industry.
