Sharp reaches agreement with Hon Hai subsidiary Fullertain to sell shares of its subsidiary

Sharp Corporation recently announced that it has signed an agreement with Fullertain, a subsidiary of Hon Hai, to sell the shares of SAIGON STEC CO., LTD. (SSTEC) held by its subsidiary Sharp Sensing Technology Corporation (SSTC) to Fullertain, and also transfer the fixed assets held by Sharp or SSTC to SSTEC. After the completion of this transaction, SSTEC will no longer be included in Sharp's consolidated income, and it is expected that this transfer will cause Sharp's consolidated performance to lose 15.5 billion yen.
