FAW Jiefang 6DV Super Factory officially put into production, leading a new trend in domestic engine production

FAW Jiefang 6DV Super Factory was officially put into production on December 5. The factory started construction in July 2022 and has an annual production capacity of 50,000 engines. It is the first domestic stacked gear assembly process with an automation rate of 83% and a product first-time pass rate of 99.99%. On the same day, China FAW's independently developed and domestically developed first heavy-duty commercial vehicle direct-injection hydrogen engine, the CA6HV3 hydrogen engine, was released at the super factory. It has a maximum power of 460 horsepower, making it the most powerful hydrogen engine in China and achieving zero carbon emissions.
