Tesla's free cash flow reached $2.742 billion in the third quarter of 2024, a significant increase of 223% compared with $848 million in the same period last year. This increase was mainly due to the increase in net cash inflows from the company's business operating activities, from $3.308 billion a year ago to $6.255 billion this quarter. In addition, Tesla's capital expenditures in the third quarter were $3.513 billion, an increase of 43% compared with $2.460 billion in the same period last year. Adequate cash flow enables Tesla to continue to invest in product research and development, capacity expansion and other important areas, thereby maintaining its leading position in the electric vehicle market.
