According to the data from the First Commercial Vehicle Network, the total sales volume of domestic concrete mixer trucks in 2023 was 18,149 units, a year-on-year decrease of 15%. However, the new energy mixer truck market segment achieved counter-cyclical growth, with sales reaching 5,315 units, a year-on-year increase of 147%, setting a record high in this field. The new energy penetration rate of mixer trucks also increased from 10.1% in 2022 to 29.3%, an increase of 19.2 percentage points. In the new energy mixer truck market, pure electric models occupy a dominant position, with sales soaring 149% year-on-year to 5,235 units, accounting for 98.49%. Hydrogen fuel cell mixer trucks also achieved a year-on-year growth of 57%, reaching 80 units.
