FAW-Volkswagen to lead domestic joint venture automakers in sales in 2024

FAW-Volkswagen's full-year terminal sales data for 2024 was released, with a total sales of 1,659,107 vehicles (including Audi imported vehicles) throughout the year, becoming the sales champion of domestic joint venture automakers. Among them, the Volkswagen brand delivered 928,018 vehicles throughout the year, and its fuel vehicle market share grew against the trend, ranking second in the fuel vehicle market. Sagitar, Golf, and ID.4 CROZZ all ranked first in their respective market segments; the main sales force Tanyue and Magotan family ranked second in the market segment. The Audi brand sold 611,088 vehicles (including imported vehicles) throughout the year, ranking first in the domestic luxury car market, and its six models also ranked first in the cumulative sales and market share of their respective luxury market segments. The Jetta brand sold 120,001 vehicles throughout the year, and VA3 ranked first in the public household share of the market segment. Since its establishment, FAW-Volkswagen has paid a total of 717.1 billion yuan in taxes and is the first passenger car company in China to produce and sell more than 28 million vehicles. FAW-Volkswagen will continue to adhere to the development strategy of "oil and electricity co-progress".
