Weichai focuses on the field of natural gas power and leads the green transformation of the industry

As a leader in my country's internal combustion engine industry, Weichai has achieved remarkable results in the field of natural gas engines in recent years. Weichai began research and development of natural gas engines in 1999, and launched 1.0 products represented by WP13NG in 2015, with cumulative sales of 97,000 units and a market share of 60%. In 2019, Weichai launched a 2.0 National VI natural gas engine that meets National VI emission standards, with cumulative sales of 186,000 units and a market share of 64%. In 2022, Weichai once again launched a 3.0 natural gas engine product with a 12% increase in power and a 5% reduction in gas consumption.
