CAN XL vs. CAN FD: A comparison of two in-vehicle network technologies

CAN XL and CAN FD are both in-vehicle network technologies, but they have some key differences in the data link layer. For example, the maximum data field length of CAN XL is 2048 bytes, while the maximum data field length of CAN FD is 64 bytes.
