CAN XL: A new in-vehicle network communication technology

CAN XL is a highly scalable communication technology designed to meet the needs of future in-vehicle networks. It achieves bit rates of up to 10+ Mbit/s by optimizing area-oriented heterogeneous network architectures. The core features of this technology include payload lengths that are the same as Ethernet frame lengths, reliability that is equal to or better than CAN, CAN FD, and 10Mbit/s Ethernet, and robustness that is equal to or better than CAN FD. In addition, CAN XL offers a maximum data segment transfer rate of 10Mbit/s and is backward compatible with CAN FD.
