Stellantis acquires stake in lidar startup SteerLight

Stellantis, the world's fourth-largest automotive group, announced on March 20 that it would acquire a stake in LiDAR startup SteerLight to strengthen its position in the market and secure key sensors for autonomous driving. SteerLight's LiDAR solutions are considered more compact and cheaper to manufacture than competitors' products.
