GAC and Benewake reach mass production cooperation to promote the development of the smart car industry

GAC Group recently announced that it has reached a mass production cooperation with Benewake Technology to jointly develop LiDAR technology. The goal of this cooperation is to establish independent and controllable productivity, further enhance GAC's leadership in the smart car industry, and promote the upgrading and development of Guangzhou's automobile industry. Benewake Technology's AD2 vehicle-mounted LiDAR platform product was selected by GAC due to its performance advantages, which indicates that Benewake's innovation ability and mass production strength have been highly recognized by GAC. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the research and development and production of LiDAR. In addition, Benewake Technology has established a high-performance LiDAR R&D center and a national headquarters base in Huadu District, Guangzhou, and completed the construction of the industry's first 256-line high-performance automotive-grade LiDAR fully automated production line in Guangzhou.
