Alchip, a high-performance ASIC design service provider, recently announced that it has successfully taped out a 2nm test chip and expects to announce the results in the first quarter of next year. Alchip is working with customers to develop high-performance 2nm ASICs and become one of the first IC innovators to adopt the revolutionary nanosheet (GAA) transistor architecture. The test chip includes high-speed SRAM, automatic layout and routing design, silicon performance monitor, and Lite I/O and power domain integration, and can handle 3DIC options.
