Classification of BMS and their respective characteristics

Battery management systems (BMS) can be divided into constant current constant voltage (CCCV) chargers, shunts, monitors, monitors, equalizers and protectors according to their functions. Among them, constant current constant voltage chargers are suitable for specific scenarios, but cannot prevent overcharging or over-discharging of single cells; shunts are used for shunt protection during battery charging; monitors can monitor battery status; monitors can perform some control operations; equalizers are used to keep the voltage of each single cell in the battery pack consistent; protectors provide comprehensive protection measures.
