Intel halts $25 billion factory expansion in Israel

Intel has reportedly suspended a $25 billion factory expansion project in Israel, which was originally planned to add $15 billion to the existing $10 billion investment. Intel said that there are many dependencies on projects of this size, which have led to work delays, but Israel remains one of its major global manufacturing and R&D bases and it remains fully committed to the region.
