Nord AG signs strategic cooperation agreement with Indian battery manufacturer Exide Energy

On June 11, Nord announced a strategic partnership with Exide Energy, India's largest battery manufacturer. The two parties held a signing ceremony in Shanghai to discuss the details of the cooperation. Nord has four electrolytic copper foil production bases, with an annual output of 120,000 tons of high-end electrolytic copper foil. Its main products include 3.5-8 micron lithium copper foil, composite copper (aluminum) foil and porous copper foil. Exide Energy has 9 production plants and more than 20,000 employees in India. Its lithium battery plant is under construction and is expected to achieve a production capacity of 6GWh by the end of 2024, and plans to reach 24GWh by 2027.
